When kids last year asked me which trip was my all-time favorite, this trip was the answer. It is easily the most scenic of all the overnight trips we have ever done, and this year I have managed to find an absolutely incredible place to stay with tons for the kids to do and beautiful views of an Adirondack lake. And then there is the history! We will explore the French and Indian War, the American Revolution, and also fast forward to the 20th century Winter Olympics. Add a trip to an amusement park and visits to two of the most iconic Adirondack towns and this trip will be one that your kids will never forget!
